Budget Tracker is a personal-use application operated by Cole P. (ladoki27@gmail.com) for the sole purpose of tracking the operator's own financial accounts. There are no other users of the application.
The application uses Plaid to connect to the operator's own bank and credit card accounts. Through Plaid, the application receives account balances, transactions, and liability information (interest rates, balances, payment due dates).
All account data and Plaid access tokens are stored locally on the operator's personal machine. Sensitive values are encrypted at rest. No account data is transmitted to any third party beyond Plaid itself.
Data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. The application has no server-side component accessible to anyone other than the operator.
The operator may delete stored data and disconnect Plaid items at any time. Disconnection removes the access token and stops further data access.
The application runs locally on encrypted storage. Access tokens and credentials are not committed to version control. The operator is the sole person with access to the application and its data.
